General Education Requirements


General Education requirements for all degrees:

  • A minimum of 30 general education credits are required for the Bachelor of Applied Science, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Science Degrees.
  • A minimum of 15 general education requirements are required for the Associate of Applied Science Degree.

Requirements

        Human Societies is a General Education Requirement for all programs (AA, AS, AAS, BAS)

Wyoming state law § 21-9-102 requires all students to have instruction on the United States Constitution and the Wyoming Constitution to earn a degree from Western. Students taking a history or political science course outside of the State of Wyoming must complete the additional POLS 1100 Wyoming Government to fulfill this requirement.
