This is a survey of the basic principles of biology. Included are units on scientific methodology, cell biology and metabolism, genetics, evolution, and ecology. Credit will not be received for BIOL 1010 and BIOL 1000 or BIOL 1003.
Prerequisite: MATH 0900 or higher (C or better), or ACT Math score of 16 or higher, or ALEKS score of 14 or higher.Corequisite: BIOL 1011
