Industrial Maintenance Technology, A.A.S.

The Industrial Maintenance program offers both the Associate of Applied Science degree and several certificates. The Industrial Maintenance certificates allow options in Hydraulics or Welding. The program also offers additional certificates in surface maintenance mechanics, underground mechanics, and apprentice power plant mechanics. After completing the required courses listed, the student may apply and receive a certificate.

  • PHYS 1050  can be replaced with college level math course.

  • MCH 2740  can be replaced by a course from the following prefixes: AUTO, CMPT, DESL, ELTR, INDM, MCH, MINE, OGPT, TECH, or WELD.
  • In addition to ENGL 1010 , students may be required to also take ENGL 1011  (2 credits) due to placement, adding 2 additional credits to their graduation total.

  • Students with formal industrial safety training, (MSHA, OSHA, etc.) may be granted equivalency for TECH 1600  by their advisor.
  • ENGL 2005  may be replaced with ENGL 1020 .
