Engineering, Pre-Engineering, A.S.

The Pre-Engineering program will provide a degree pathway for students who want to pursue engineering in spite of the fact they they are not calculus-ready at the time of their first semester. Also, this program will provide a degree that allows students to finish the Mechanical Engineering Specialization with one additional year. Upon completion, the students will be able to transfer with Junior status into the ME program at the University of Wyoming.

US & Wyoming Constitution Credits: 3

Freshman Year - Fall Semester Notes:

Students should take either ES 1070 and ES 1080 , or ES 2230 and ES 2240 in their first two semesters.
US & Wyoming Constitution can be fulfilled by HIST 1211 , HIST 1221 , HIST 1251 , or POLS 1000 .
In addition to ENGL 1010 , students may be required to also take ENGL 1011 (2 credits) due to placement, adding 2 additional credits to their graduation total.
MATH 1400 or higher.
