KIN 2130 - Fundamentals of Exercise Science Credits: 4 This course teaches the responsibilities and work activities that are necessary for becoming a fitness leader or personal trainer. It is a practical course that stresses application of anatomical and physiological concepts related to exercise. Major topics include exercise screening, program design, proper exercise techniques, injury prevention and legal issues. In addition, this course will prepare students to take the national certification exam given by the American Council on Exercise.
