SPAN 1020 - First Year Spanish II

This course covers the fundamentals of grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and speaking on a basic level. Students also learn about the culture and history of various Spanish-speaking countries. By the end of the course, successful students will be able to communicate (read, write, listen, speak) on a basic level about everyday topics such as daily routines, food, holidays, health, housing, clothing, and shopping. Past tense is introduced.
Prerequisite: SPAN 1010 or successful completion of two years of high school Spanish or the equivalent
