OEAC 1200 - Intro to Outdoor Education

With a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experiences, this course strives to give a comprehensive overview of the basic skills and knowledge required to access a variety of outdoor recreational activities and career opportunities. Students will synthesize historical and contemporary philosophies of outdoor education to develop a deeper understanding of the issues currently faced by outdoor educators in the modern world.
