CRMJ 2590 - Drugs and Criminal JusticeCredits: 3
Provides the history and tentative identification of the abused drugs, their physical and mental characteristics when ingested, their effects, and their relationship with the individual, education, society, and the courts. The second portion of this course deals with prostitution and gambling and its impact on the individual, law enforcement, and society. The student will be exposed to the history, profiteering, and control of violations of vice and narcotics-type crimes.
