This is a survey of the basic principles of biology. Included are units on scientific methodology, cell biology and metabolism, genetics, evolution, and ecology. Credit may not be received for both BIOL 1010 and BIOL 1003.
Prerequisite: MATH 0900 or higher (C or better), or ACT Math score of 16 or higher, or ALEKS score of 14 or higher.Corequisite: BIOL 1011
