AUTO 2590 - Engine Performance IIICredits: 3
This course is a continuation of Engine Performance II and is designed for students who have a foundation of such knowledge to build on. The areas of study are systems related to engine performance, emission control systems, OBDII, digital oscilloscopes, and scan tools, as well as the proper use thereof. Alternative powertrain management systems, such as light-duty diesel, gas-electric hybrids, and compressed natural gas systems, will also be covered.
