MATH 1450 - Algebra and Trigonometry Credits: 5 This course emphasizes aspects of algebra, trigonometry, and problem solving that are important in the study of calculus. It includes functions and their applications to real world problems and different classes of functions, including polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Students with both MATH 1400 and 1405 may not receive credit for this course. Students who successfully complete this course with a C or better may enroll to take MATH 2200.
Prerequisite: MATH 0934 (C or better) or Math ACT 23 or higher or ALEKS score 46-60
