STAT 2050 - Fundamentals of Statistics Credits: 4 The presentation and application of statistical inference. Topics include measures of central tendency, variance and standard deviation, probability modes, inference for means and proportions, analysis of variance for one-way classification, and an introduction to linear regression and correlation. Credit cannot be earned in more than one of the following: STAT 2010 , STAT 2050, or STAT 2070 .
Prerequisite: MATH 1000 (C or better) or MATH 1400 (C or better) or higher, or Math ACT score of 23 or higher, or ALEKS score of 46-60
