PHYS 1110 - General Physics I

The first course of a two-semester non-calculus based physics sequence. It is primarily for majors in biology, premedicine and other majors that do not require calculus-based physics. Topics include mechanics, gravitation and heat. Laboratory sessions illustrate the principles studied. Students receiving credit for PHYS 1110 cannot receive credit for PHYS 1050.
