The Accounting Certificate offers core courses related to accounting. The certificate has been designed to develop skills and technical knowledge regarding accounting and is intended to prepare students for entry-level accounting positions. The curriculum was developed in partnership with general business representatives from most types of local industries. Therefore, it provides training that meets general industry expectations. Students will gain an understanding and skills in accounting, accounting software, and spreadsheet applications.
