EDEL 4109 - Elementary Humanities EducationCredits: 5
This course is designed to equip students with appropriate instructional techniques and strategies for teaching humanities. Areas of study include world history, geography, religion, and citizenship. Education students will develop an understanding of what it is like to be human. They will learn to teach elementary grade-level children how people live, think, and interact in diverse societies, cultures, and environments, particularly in the context of historical eras, geographical locations, and spiritual philosophy. Prerequisite: EDUC 2470 Valid Wyoming Substitute Teaching Permit on file at Western’s Department of Education.Corequisite: EDUC 2470
