This course emphasizes aspects of algebra, trigonometry, and Problem-Solving that are important in the study of calculus. It includes functions and their applications to real-world problems and different classes of functions, including polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Students with both MATH 1400 and 1405 may not receive credit for this course. Students who complete this course with a C or better may enroll to take MATH 2200. Prerequisite: MATH 1400 (C or better), or ACT Math of 25 or higher, or ALEKS score of 61-75
