BIOL 1210 - Wyoming Flora

This is a two-credit class designed for anyone interested in learning about the plants of Wyoming. The lecture focuses on the basics of plant biology and taxonomy; the lab focuses on developing skills required for the identification of plants. Lecture topics also include using native plants for xeriscaping and medicinal and edible wild plants. The class consists of a mixture of lectures, labs, and, most importantly, mandatory field trips.
