EDEC 1020 - Intro to Early Childhood Education

This course introduces the student to the field of early childhood education through lectures, discussion, and participation. Topics to be explored include components of quality programs, child development theory, curriculum development, learning environments, classroom management, parent/teacher relationships, the importance of play, and teaching as a profession.
