MATH 934 - Beginning and Intermediate Algebra Credits: 5 This class is an accelerated course that combines MATH 920 and MATH 930 content in one semester and is designed for the student who needs a review. Topics include operations with real numbers, operations involving algebraic expressions, solving linear equations, graphing lines, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, an introduction to functions and relations, solving inequalities, radical expressions and equations, solving quadratic equations.
Prerequisite: MATH 900 (C or better), or Math ACT score of 16-20, or ALEKS score of 14-29
